Reports from Turkey suggest that Gaziantep are close to reaching a loan agreement with Lazio for Sofian Kiyine.
The Biancocelesti have been looking to trim the dead weight from their squad this summer and one of the players on the transfer list is the 24-year-old Moroccan midfielder, who returned to Rome last month after a one-year loan spell with Venezia.
As reported by Turkish outlet Fotomac, Gaziantep are on the verge of reaching a total agreement with Lazio for Kiyine, working to complete a loan deal with a buy option attached. A few details still need to be ironed out, but all parties are now confident that things can be finalised soon.
The 24-year-old Kiyine has already approved the move and will certainly find more playing time with Gaziantep than he would in Rome.
Lazio signed the Moroccan midfielder in July 2019 from Chievo Verona in a deal worth around €1 million. He’s never made a competitive appearance for the Roman club, spending time on loan with Salernitana and Venezia.
