Lazio are keen to make a move for Real Madrid prospect Miguel Gutierrez as they search for a new left back.
The Biancocelesti know that Maurizio Sarri needs a stronger option in the left back role and their main target is Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri, but it still seems as if a deal may be too difficult to pull off this summer, forcing them to look elsewhere.
As reported by Il Tempo (via TMW), Lazio have been keeping a close eye on Miguel Gutierrez and are interested in signing the Real Madrid talent on loan this month.
The 21-year-old Spaniard had been sidelined for the last two months or so due to a knee injury but he’s recently returned to training and looks ready for a return to action. Gutierrez made a handful of first team appearances last season for Los Blancos, and he provided one assist in that time.
Lazio already signed Mario Gila from Real Madrid this summer, so they’re starting on a positive foot.
