Lazio are reportedly pushing to sign Vis Pesaro talent Ahmed Sanogo, who has impressed in the lower divisions.

The 17-year-old Italian forward joined the Serie C outfit in January of this year in a deal worth around €50,000 from Serie D side Fanfulla. He impressed at the amateur level, scoring one goal and providing one assist for the first team in 23 appearances.

As reported by TMW, Ahmed Sanogo caught the attention of Lazio, who are now working hard to try and close out a deal with Vis Pesaro. The Biancocelesti want to add the 17-year-old forward to their youth system, believing in his potential.

The Roman club’s youth system underwent a shakeup earlier this year and now work is being carried out to try and improve the quality of player development.

Standing at 175cm tall, Sanogo is a right-footed forward who seems to be most comfortable playing as a second striker, although he’s also appeared as a right winger and a right back.
