Lazio Player Ratings for Fiery 2-1 Win Over Bologna

Manuel Lazzari shined and Luis Maximiano bombed for Lazio according to the Italian press in the 2-1 win over Bologna yesterday.

The Biancocelesti faced a tough test at the Stadio Olimpico yesterday evening, with a physical and fiery Gialloblu side holding both a goal and man advantage for large parts of the match. Eventually a Ciro Immobile winner secured all three points for Maurizio Sarri’s side, allowing them to breath a sigh of relief.

It was a debut to forget for Maximiano, who was sent off after only six minutes for handling the ball outside his penalty area. Ivan Provedel replaced him and impressed, an incident that could see the former Spezia shot stopper become the first choice option from now on.

Lazzari shined in the match playing as a right back, putting in a good shift both offensively and defensively.
