Pedro was forced to watch Lazio beat Bologna from the sidelines and now he’s expected to miss the second game of the season against Torino as well.
The 35-year-old Spanish winger is still recovering from a right ankle injury after receiving a bad knock from Kike Perez in a pre-season friendly against Real Valladolid earlier this month. Pedro had to miss out on Lazio’s season opener against Bologna and now he’s set to wait a little longer before he can return to action.
As reported by La Repubblica (via LazioNews24), Pedro returning to the training pitch in Formello yesterday but he did not train with the Lazio squad, working individually. He’s set to join his teammates in tomorrow’s session, making a return in time for Saturday’s match against Torino highly unlikely.
Lazio hope that Pedro will be fully fit in time for their match against Inter, which is scheduled for August 26.
