Lazio Keeping Tabs on Tottenham Left Back Reguilon

Lazio have registered their interest in Tottenham’s Sergio Reguilon as they rapidly search for a new left back, reports suggest.

The Biancocelesti clearly need to pick up a new left back before the summer transfer window ends, with current incumbents being the adapted Adam Marusic and the unconvincing Elseid Hysaj. Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri was a key target for months but a deal could never be agreed, forcing Lazio to look elsewhere.

As reported by Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio have set their sights on Reguilon and they’re keen to pick up the 25-year-old Spaniard from Tottenham this month, although current indications suggest that they’ll still need to sell Hysaj first.

No concrete offers have arrived for the Albanian full back but the Biancocelesti could try to make a move for Reguilon even without a sale. Re-homing redundant option Mohamed Fares would also be sufficient enough, but he’s still struggling to recover from his serious injury.

Reguilon is contracted to Spurs until 2025 and has an estimated market value of around €25 million.
