Reguilon Puts Nottingham Forest on Hold in Bid to Join Lazio

Sergio Reguilon has reportedly delayed talks with Nottingham Forest as he waits for Lazio to complete a move.

The Biancocelesti are looking to pick up a new left back in the remaining days of the transfer window, even if current incumbent Elseid Hysaj hasn’t been re-homed. Lazio are working to send Francesco Acerbi to Inter on loan, a deal that would also be sufficient enough to make space.

As reported by TMW, Reguilon is keen on the idea of joining Lazio this month and has put talks with Nottingham Forest on hold as he waits for the Roman side to complete a move. The Biancocelesti are now negotiating how to split the Spaniard’s wages with Tottenham.

Updates are expected soon, with Lazio desperate to add one final reinforcement to Sarri’s squad before the end of the transfer window.

Last season, Reguilon made 31 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 2274 minutes. In that time, he scored two goals and provided three assists, impressing going forward.
