With only four days left in the summer transfer window, Lazio are working hard to find a buyer for Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro and three clubs are now in the running.

The 29-year-old Ivorian midfielder failed to convince coach Maurizio Sarri and has ended up on the sidelines of the project in the Italian capital, pushing the club to re-home him this summer. So far Akpa Akpro has rejected all possible moves away, and rumours of interest from Toulouse came and went in a flash, so now things are going down to the wire.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lecce have already made an approach for Akpa Akpro earlier this transfer window and the Lazio outcast rejected them, but now they’re returned to make another attempt. They’re joined by Bologna and Monza, who are both also considering making a last minute move.

The Ivorian midfielder would be a low-cost option for any of these three clubs and offers are expected to arrive at some point in the next 48 or 72 hours, with the transfer window rapidly drawing to a close.
