Pedro is proving increasingly important at Lazio and president Claudio Lotito is keen to reward the Spaniard.
The 35-year-old winger was a star in the Biancocelesti’s 3-1 win over Inter on the weekend, providing the assist for Luis Albert’s wonder strike before scoring his own beautiful goal.
Pedro has proven to be an amazing addition to the squad, adding an experienced and technical winger who also acts as the perfect role model for young talents like Luka Romero.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio are keen to reward Pedro for his important role to the club and Lotito wants to extend his contract to June 2024. His current deal expires at the end of this season and neither the president nor coach Maurizio Sarri wants to see him go.
The 2010 World Cup winner is incredibly happy in Rome and is enjoying playing under Sarri once again. Since his arrival last summer, Pedro has scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 43 appearances.
