Only a few days after a wasteful mid-week draw with Sampdoria, Lazio are ready for one of their toughest games of the season against Napoli.
The Roman club have had an inconsistent start to the season, securing wins over Bologna and Inter but sharing points in frustrating draws against Torino and Sampdoria. Maurizio Sarri knows that his side will need to maintain consistency if they want to stay involved in the race for Champions League qualification this season.
Things have been a little different for Napoli; Luciano Spalletti’s side started the season in flying form, beating Hellas Verona 5-2 and Monza 4-0, but they’ve since picked up two uninspiring draws against Fiorentina and Lecce. The Campania side will be hoping to right the ship with a strong result at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow.

Sarri has his entire Lazio squad available for him to face the Partenopei, with Pedro recovering after his recent ankle issue. Felipe Anderson is set to start on the bench after coming off in the first half of the draw against Sampdoria.
Spalletti cannot count on Diego Demme and Adam Ounas, but otherwise has a healthy Napoli squad. Their latest signings, like Tanguy Ndombele and Giacomo Raspadori, are not expected to start.
Expected Starting Lineups
Luis Alberto and Toma Basic are both competing for a starting spot in the Lazio midfield, something that Danilo Cataldi and Matias Vecino are also jostling for. Pedro is set to start over Felipe Anderson and Alessio Romagnoli is expected to hold the edge over Nicolo Casale.
Spalletti has a few doubts in his Napoli squad, starting with the duel between Kim Min-Jae and Juan Jesus for a starting spot in defence. Andre Zambo Anguissa and Ndombele are both being considered for the starting 11 as well.
