Eight Lazio Players Called Up for This International Break

The first international break of the season has now started and eight Lazio players have received call-ups to their respective national teams.

Leagues around Europe will take a two-week break to allow national teams to begin their preparations for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. For nations not going, like Italy, this break gives them a chance to regroup and plan ahead for the future.

Maurizio Sarri will be happy to give a large part of his squad a rest ahead of their next round of fixtures, but eight Lazio players will be taking to the international stage in the coming days. This break will be extra special for Ivan Provedel and Mario Gila, who received their first call-ups to the Italy squad and Spain U-21 side respectively.
