Lazio Coach Sarri Suspended for Next Match Against Spezia

Maurizio Sarri has been suspended for the upcoming clash between Lazio and Spezia after being booked in the 4-0 win over Cremonese.

The 63-year-old Italian coach has been no stranger to frustration this campaign, receiving a warning and fine after showing the middle finger to the Hellas Verona bench earlier this month, and now he’s found himself in trouble again with the Serie A officials.

As announced by the Serie A sporting judge (via LazioNews24), Sarri has been suspended for the upcoming game between Lazio and Spezia after receiving a booking in the 4-0 win over Cremonese.

The Italian coach was unhappy at the accusation he was time wasting in the second half after changing his mind regarding substitutions.

Assistant coach Giovanni Martusciello will take his place on the touchline. The 51-year-old also led the Lazio dugout last season in the 2-2 draw with Cagliari, and during their time together at Juventus he oversaw two wins over Parma and Napoli.
