How Much Lazio President Lotito Took in Wages in 2021-22

Lazio president Claudio Lotito took a salary from the club for the third consecutive year, something he didn’t do in his first 15 years in charge.

The Biancocelesti president took over the club back in 2004, taking over after previous owner Sergio Cragnotti was forced to sell due to serious financial issues. Lotito has worked hard to fix the club’s economic health over the last two decades and has done well righting the ship, with his decision to appoint Maurizio Sarri last year being the latest decision to majorly benefit the team.

As highlighted by Calcio e Finanza, Lotito took a €600,000 salary from Lazio for the 2021-22 season, the third year in a row that he’s earned wages from the club.

Lotito’s companies cost Lazio €6.25 million total for the 2022 financial year, a drop from the €7.08 million cost the previous year. This drop can partly be explained by the sale of Salernitana last year.

The Biancocelesti president’s companies include Roma Union Security, Gasoltermica Laurentina, Omnia Service and Snam Lazio Sud, which contribute costs due to their usage by Lazio, such as security at Formello and food services.
