It’s been a frustrating start for Italiano and his squad, but their 3-0 away win over Hearts in the Europa Conference League allowed them to rediscover some confidence. Fiorentina are now hungry to climb up the league table in the run up to the World Cup break next month.
Speaking to Fiorentina’s media outlets (via LazioNews24), Italiano first discussed the health of his squad heading into the match.
The team is well, we’re in good shape. We have to recover some lagging players and some who don’t have the 90 minutes in them, but these are all individual situations.
