The starting lineups for today’s Europa League clash between Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio and Christian Ilzer’s Sturm Graz have been announced.
The Biancocelesti and the Austrian side had a tense 0-0 clash at the Merkur Arena last week, with neither side managing to break the deadlock on a cold Autumn evening. All four teams in Group F of the Europa League are tied on four points, making victory in tonight’s clash crucial in the battle for a Round of 16 spot.
Lazio’s last outing was another strong showing, a 4-0 win away to Fiorentina, whilst Sturm Graz edged out a 2-1 win over WSG Tirol at home.
Lazio have a fully fit squad for this evening’s game, although it’s hard to imagine Nicolo Casale featuring considering his recent injury. Sturm Graz’s only absence is midfielder Vesel Demaku, having recovered Jakob Jantscher and Emanuel Emegha.
