Pedro showed off his class in the difficult 2-2 draw between Lazio and Sturm Graz in their fourth Europa League outing of the season.
The Biancocelesti took the lead just before half time thanks to a Ciro Immobile penalty, but their joy was short-lived after Manuel Lazzari was shown a second yellow card before the break. William Boving netted an equaliser before the hour mark but Pedro responded 15 minutes later, setting up a tense finish in Rome. Boving ultimately secured his brace, leaving things to end 2-2.
Lazio did not look defensively solid against Sturm Graz, a disappointing performance considering the strengths shown by the backline so far this season. Things weren’t much more inspiring in midfield, but the forward line did well considering the state of the match.
All four teams in Group F are now tied on five points following Feyenoord’s 2-2 draw with FC Midtjylland last night, leaving the group wide open with two games left to play.
