Lazio Set Sights on Talented AZ Alkmaar Left Back

Lazio are still searching for a new left back and have set their sights on talented AZ Alkmaar youngster Milos Kerkez.

The Biancocelesti are desperate to pick up a new left back in the upcoming January transfer window, with Maurizio Sarri unsatisfied with his current options in the role. Lazio’s choices at left back include the adapted Adam Marusic, the veteran Stefan Radu and the unconvincing Elseid Hysaj.

As reported by Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Kerkez has attracted the attention of Lazio, impressing with both AZ Alkmaar and the Hungarian national team.

The teenager has been one of the surprises of this Eredivisie season and has scored two goals in 10 league games for the club this campaign. The Hungarian full back is not physically imposing but is quick and dangerous with the ball at his feet.

Kerkez has already spent time in Italy in the past, making 32 appearances with the Milan Primavera squad between the league, Coppa Italia and Youth League. He has the same agent as Luis Alberto and would cost around €5 million.
