Lazio Talisman Among Nominees for Best Men’s Player at Globe Soccer Awards

Lazio star Ciro Immobile has been nominated for the Best Men’s Player of the Year award at the the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards.

The 32-year-old Italian striker was on fire under Maurizio Sarri last season, winning his fourth Capocannoniere title after netting 27 goals in 31 league matches. Immobile did not suffer as a result of the major tactical shift implemented under the Italian coach and remained a key leader on the pitch for Lazio.

The Dubai Globe Soccer Awards announced their 25 nominees for the Best Men’s Player of the Year award, which includes Immobile. Joining the Lazio captain are top stars like Karim Benzema, Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and Lionel Messi.

Voting is carried out by the fans and is now open for supporters across the world, who will decide the winners of the 13th edition of the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards. The award ceremony will take place on 17th November, just after the start of the World Cup break.
