Referee Irfan Peljto has been assigned to oversee the upcoming Europa League clash between Feyenoord and Lazio.
The Biancocelesti can book their spot in the Round of 16 of the competition with a positive result against their Dutch opposition, making it a key clash for Maurizio Sarri and his squad. Lazio currently sit top of Group F with eight points, only three ahead of Feyenoord, so defeat would prove disastrous.

The 38-year-old Peljto has never officiated a Lazio match in the past, although he’s overseen games involving Roma and Juventus. The Bianconeri won their outing, against Malmo last season, whilst the Giallorossi lost to CSKA Sofia back in 2020 under the Bosnian referee’s watchful gaze.
Peljto has also never overseen a Feyenoord game before, but did officiate Ajax’s 2-1 win over Besiktas last season.
