Lazio president Claudio Lotito is personally overseeing the work to tie down talented youngster Luka Romero to a new contract.
The 17-year-old Argentinian is considered one of the brightest prospects at the Biancocelesti and has made a few appearances under Maurizio Sarri this season. Luka Romero turns 18 later this month, allowing Lazio to offer him a new long-term contract at the club. His current deal expires at the end of this season.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have no intention of losing Luka Romero at the end of this season and Lotito is personally working on agreeing a new deal with the Argentinian teenager.
The Biancocelesti president will sit down with the player’s agent Fali Ramadani in the coming days and both parties are confident that an agreement can be reached.
The physical issues suffered by Mattia Zaccagni and Pedro will give Luka Romero a greater chance to show off his skills.
