The starting lineups for today’s Serie A clash between Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio and Raffaele Palladino’s Monza have been announced.
The Biancocelesti restored their confidence with an impressive 1-0 win over bitter rivals Roma in the Derby della Capitale last weekend, firing them up ahead of their final two games of the calendar year. Monza have only won two of their last five league outings but did secure a 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona last weekend, giving them hope of a possible upset in Rome.
Sarri will be unable to count on the injured Ciro Immobile and Mattia Zaccagni for today’s clash, with Manuel Lazzari’s fitness also in doubt due to a minor issue.
Palladino’s Monza are without the injured Stefano Sensi and Pablo Mari, who is still recovering following the recent knife attack he suffered in a supermarket in the outskirts of Milan last month.
