Details Behind Lazio Contract Offer to Promising Talent

Lazio are reportedly close to agreeing a new contract with talented youngster Luka Romero, who scored his debut goal for the club earlier this week.

The 17-year-old Argentinian forward was given his best chance yet by Maurizio Sarri in the Biancocelesti’s clash with Monza on Thursday, coming on at half time to try and make the difference against the newly promoted side. Luka Romero did just that and scored the winner in the 69th minute to secure all three points for Lazio.

As reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi, Luka Romero’s current contract expires with Lazio next year in 2023 and the club are confident that a new deal will be fully agreed soon. Claudio Lotito has prepared a four-year contract with a salary of around €800,000 net per season, rising year-on-year.

The Argentinian teenager is expected to put pen to paper on the new contract in January, confirming his future in the Italian capital.

He has already attracted the attention of big clubs in the past, with teams like Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona and Sevilla all seriously interested.
