Lazio president Claudio Lotito made it clear that Juventus would need to pay a hefty sum for star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder played 77 minutes of the Biancocelesti’s recent 3-0 loss to the Bianconeri, coming off to a round of applause from the Allianz Stadium. The gesture has reignited rumours that Juventus are planning to make a concrete move for Milinkovic-Savic in the upcoming January transfer window.

Speaking via Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lotito clarified the Milinkovic-Savic situation and made his price clear to Juventus.

I’m not selling him and I don’t give a damn about the applause. Money matters, bring at least €100 million to see him at Juventus.

Milinkovic-Savic’s current contract expires with Lazio in 2024 and the club have been keen to kickstart negotiations for a new deal, but his agent Mateja Kezman has postponed talks until after the World Cup.

The Serbian midfielder has long been appreciated by Juventus and they may look to pull the trigger on a deal in January, aware of his contract situation. TuttoMercatoWeb suggests that a €50 million plus add-ons offer is being prepared.
