Luis Alberto has grown tired of life with Lazio and could leave the club in January, with three Spanish sides all interested in a move.
The 30-year-old midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Sevilla in the summer but ultimately stayed in Rome as a deal failed to materialised. Luis Alberto has struggled for consistent playing time under Maurizio Sarri this season, only starting in five Serie A matches, and is unhappy with his relegated role.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), the perennially interested Sevilla are still keen on the idea of picking up Luis Alberto in January and could finally pull the trigger on a deal with Lazio.
Atletico Madrid are also seemingly interested and may look to offer a loan swap with Rodrigo De Paul. The other idea is Gennaro Gattuso’s Valencia, although they’ll have less resources to play with in January compared to their competition.
Lazio value Luis Alberto at around €25 million, although it’s likely that they’d be willing to negotiate down to €20 million.
