Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has reportedly agreed to the terms of a contract with Juventus but is still open to putting pen to paper on a new deal with Lazio.
The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder’s current contract expires with the Biancocelesti in around 18 months, putting him in an interesting position ahead of the January transfer window.
Recent media reports have heavily linked Juventus with a move for Milinkovic-Savic and there are suggestions that a €50 million bid will arrive after the World Cup in Qatar.
As reported by Alfredo Pedulla (via LazioNews24), Milinkovic-Savic has verbally agreed to a deal with Juventus that would see him earn €6m net per season plus add-ons, prepared ahead of the next summer transfer window.
The Serbian star would be willing to pen a new deal with Lazio out of loyalty and respect for the club, but only if there is a release clause of around €40-50 million present.
Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito is desperate to agree a renewal but is hoping to guarantee a €70m release clause in the new contract.
