Lazio have reportedly started initial talks with Udinese to explore a deal for flexible forward Isaac Success.
The 26-year-old Nigerian is not the most prolific in front of goal but is a useful part of Andrea Sottil’s squad in Udine, scoring one goal and providing four assists in 17 appearances across all competitions. Success is able to play a number of roles on the front line, including centre forward, second striker and out wide.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have been keeping a close eye on Success this season and believe he’d be the perfect addition to Maurizio Sarri’s squad, so they’ve opened talks with Udinese to explore a possible deal.
The current idea is a deal for next summer, when Lazio will have a little more resources to play with. President Claudio Lotito has already been clear with Sarri that no new forwards will arrive until the end of the season.
