Lazio have already played two friendlies against Galatasaray and Hatayspor and now they’ve confirmed their next friendly against Almeria.
The Biancocelesti performed well in their two friendlies in Turkey, picking up a 2-1 win over Galatasaray and a 5-2 victory against Hatayspor, showing Maurizio Sarri some positive signs ahead of the second half of the season.
Lazio still sit fourth in the Serie A table and they’ll be desperate to maintain their grip on the Champions League spot in the coming months.
As confirmed by Lazio, Sarri’s team will face off against Spanish side Almeria in a friendly on 22nd December at 18:30 local time at the Power Horse Stadium.
Almeria currently sit 14th in the Spanish league table and they faced off against Torino in a friendly earlier this week, picking up a 1-1 draw.
Lazio’s first game of 2023 is against Lecce on 4th January, giving the team time to continue building their match fitness.
