Lazio Moving Forward for Useful Salernitana Striker

Lazio are working to sign a low-cost backup forward in the January transfer window and have decided to make a move for Salernitana’s Federico Bonazzoli.

Biancocelesti coach Maurizio Sarri has made it clear to president Claudio Lotito that he needs both a new left back and backup striker this month, two elements that could prove crucial in the fight for a top four finish.

The Lazio president has no intention of disappointing his coach and so has started the work to sign reinforcements.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio have been keeping an eye on Bonazzoli for a little while now and Lotito has decided to move forward for the 25-year-old Italian.

The striker joined the Campania outfit on loan from Sampdoria in the summer of 2021 and completed a €5 million move to the club six months ago. He has netted 13 goals in 48 appearances for Salernitana since his arrival.
