Lazio are working hard to tie down talented youngster Luka Romero to a new contract and have scheduled a new meeting with his entourage.
The 18-year-old Argentinian forward is one of the most exciting youngsters in Italy and has already started to break into Maurizio Sarri’s Biancocelesti squad, making 16 first team appearances. Only six months remain on Luka Romero’s current contract with Lazio and the club have no intention of losing the bright spark.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have set up a new meeting with Luka Romero and his entourage for next week, keen to confirm the details of the teenager’s new contract.
The 18-year-old has agreed to sign a new contract lasting until June 2026 with an option for a further year, worth around €800,000 net per season.
Luka Romero will likely continue slowly breaking into the Lazio squad under Sarri as he works on his development in the Italian capital.
