Luka Romero is now reportedly a step away from signing a new long-term contract with Lazio after the latest round of talks.
The 18-year-old Argentinian forward is one of the brightest sparks in the Biancocelesti squad, being an extremely talented and promising winger. Lazio paid €200,000 for Romero back in 2021 and he’s slowly started to break into Maurizio Sarri’s squad in the Italian capital, scoring one goal across 12 Serie A appearances.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Luka Romero has agreed to all the details of a new contract with Lazio, with the final steps being made after the club’s 1-0 Coppa Italia win over Bologna on Thursday.
The teenager’s representatives were in Rome for the match and finalised the details of a new deal with the club’s management.
The 18-year-old is set to sign a new long-term contract, expiring in 2026 with an option to extend to 2027, with a salary worth around €800,000. An official announcement is expected before the end of this month.
