Lazio vs Milan: Official Starting Lineups Announced

The starting lineups for today’s Serie A clash between Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio and Stefano Pioli’s Milan have been officially announced.

The Biancocelesti are hungry for all three points against the defending champions as they look to stay involved in the race for a top-four finish. The Rossoneri have suffered a few slip-ups in recent weeks and Lazio will believe in their chances after last season’s woes.

Serie A preview: Lazio vs. AC Milan – Team news, opposition insight, stats and more

Milan have drawn three of their last five Serie A outings and lost in both the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana, dampening their spirits a little. Pioli’s side cannot afford to drop points to the Biancocelesti as they look to stay hot on the heels of league leaders Napoli, who currently sit 12 points clear.

Lazio are without the injured Ciro Immobile and Mario Gila. Milan cannot count on Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Fode Ballo-Toure and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, all of whom are sidelined with various injuries.

Last season, Lazio lost all three meetings with Milan in the league and Coppa Italia, so they’ll be hoping to take revenge in Rome this evening.

  1. Fuck yeah, they came to play today. Great performance so far.

Pressure will be on in the 2d half … I’m cautiously confident.
