Maurizio Sarri has announced his 21-man Lazio squad for this evening’s Europa Conference League clash with CFR Cluj, leaving out a number of regular starters.
The Biancocelesti already have one foot in the Round of 16 of Europe’s third-tier club competition following their 1-0 win over the Romanian outfit last week.
Sarri’s side will be hoping for another positive result as they look to follow in the footsteps of their intercity rivals Roma, who won the competition last season.
As announced by Lazio, the 21-man squad for the game with CFR Cluj has been confirmed, with a number of key players absent.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Mattia Zaccagni, Pedro, Stefan Radu, Alessio Romagnoli and Patric are all unavailable, with all but the Spanish defender out through injury or illness.
The Biancocelesti coach has looked to the Primavera to fill in the gaps in the squad, calling up Davide Renzetti, Fabio Ruggeri, Marco Bertini and Romano Floriani Mussolini.
