How Much Lazio Can Expect to Earn From Milinkovic-Savic Sale

Lazio are aware that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is likely to leave in the summer and now must start planning his exit strategy.

The 27-year-old Serbian star is not set to pen a new contract with the Biancocelesti and could leave on a free transfer in June 2024, something he has confirmed that he doesn’t intend to do.

As such, the summer transfer window represents the last opportunity for Lazio to cash in on Milinkovic-Savic, forcing them to look ahead and start considering their options.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Milinkovic-Savic’s agent Kezman is now working on finding offers for the star midfielder, promising Lazio that he’ll try to bring in the most lucrative proposals possible.

It’s hard to imagine interested clubs, like Arsenal, West Ham and Newcastle United, offering more than around €40m for the 27-year-old, a figure far below Claudio Lotito’s expectations but also far more lucrative than nothing.

Lazio now need to plan ahead and identify who could be brought in to replace Milinkovic-Savic, a key cog in Maurizio Sarri’s squad.
