Lazio Player Ratings for Sufficient Win Over Sampdoria

Lazio strung together a good performance in their win over Sampdoria, even if they were a little blunt in attack.

The Biancocelesti had to wait 80 minutes to find the breakthrough against the Blucerchiati, a worrying sign considering their consistent dominance on the pitch. Whilst the team never looked in any particular danger, the threat of a goalless draw loomed until Luis Alberto finally produced a moment of magic to guide his side to the win.

Despite the less than stellar work in the final third, it was still a positive night for Lazio, who shook off the lethargy of the Europa Conference League play-offs to grind out all three points against a struggling Sampdoria, who seem destined for relegation.

Apart from Luis Alberto, who was the clear difference maker on the night, Felipe Anderson and Ivan Provedel both stood out for Lazio, increasingly becoming symbols of the Maurizio Sarri era in Rome.
