Lazio Get Romagnoli Boost for Match With Napoli

Alessio Romagnoli has recovered from his recent muscle injury and is set to start for Lazio in their upcoming clash with Napoli.

The 28-year-old Italian centre back did not take part in the Biancocelesti’s last four matches across all competitions after suffering the injury in the first half of the club’s 2-0 loss to Atalanta back on 11th February.

Spanish defender Patric came in for Romagnoli, who has been working hard on his recovery ever since. The former Milan captain has been a key reason why Lazio have found defensive stability this season, leading the backline.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Romagnoli has now recovered from his biceps femoris muscle injury and is expected to start for Lazio in their upcoming game against Napoli.

Due to the disqualification of Nicolo Casale, the 28-year-old is set to start alongside Patric in the centre of the defence.

Romagnoli has made 27 appearances across all competitions this season for Lazio, scoring one goal and helping the side keep 12 clean sheets.
