Lazio president Claudio Lotito has identified Belgrano forward Bruno Zapelli as a key target ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Biancocelesti are starting to gear up for an important transfer market and are hoping to secure a top four finish to give them more resources to work with in the summer.
Lazio started to overhaul the squad last year to better fit Maurizio Sarri’s system and further work is expected in the coming months as the team look to make the next step forward.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lotito believes the 20-year-old Zapelli would be a perfect addition to Sarri’s Lazio squad in the summer.
The Argentine-born forward holds Italian citizenship and has shown a wealth of potential since breaking into the Belgrano first team in 2020, impressing as both a winger and midfielder.
Zapelli would cost around €5 million and Lotito has already started to take steps for the 20-year-old ahead of the summer.
