Zaccagni Reveals Contract Demands in Talks With Lazio

Lazio’s contract renewal talks with Mattia Zaccagni are now in full swing and the winger has made his salary requests clear to president Claudio Lotito.

The 27-year-old Italian forward has been one of the Biancocelesti’s best players this season, regularly proving dangerous out on the wing and adding another layer to the team’s attack.

Zaccagni showed his decisiveness again in Lazio’s recent Derby della Capitale win over Roma, scoring the deciding goal just after the hour mark to guide the club to glory.

As reported by Il Tempo (via LazioNews24), Lazio are hoping to extend Zaccagni’s contract from 2025 to 2027, something the player is open to, but he wants a significant bump to his salary.

The Italian winger currently earns around €1.8m net per season and he’s asking for around €3m net per season total, a request that’s reflective of his importance to the club.

The ball is now in Lotito’s court, forcing the Lazio president to make a decision in the coming weeks.
