Inter are seemingly preparing to cut their losses with Joaquin Correa in the summer and Lazio are one of the clubs linked with the striker.
The 28-year-old Argentinian forward left the Biancocelesti in August 2021 for the Nerazzurri, joining in a deal worth around €31 million total, following coach Simone Inzaghi.
Almost two years after his arrival at Inter, Correa still looks unconvincing at the club and now seems destined to be sold this summer, having scored just nine goals in 62 appearances.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24), a number of clubs are following Correa ahead of the summer transfer window, including West Ham, Aston Villa, Sevilla and Lazio.
The player would likely cost far less than the €31m he cost two years ago, and he may welcome the return to Rome, where he scored 30 goals in 117 games.
For now, West Ham are seemingly leading the race for Correa, keen to reinvent their attack after a difficult season in the Premier League.
