Lazio are happy to keep Luca Pellegrini but they want to secure a discount on the Juventus loanee.
The 24-year-old Italian left back joined the Biancocelesti in the January transfer window from the Bianconeri in a six-month loan deal with a €10 million buy option attached.
Pellegrini has made just one 69-minute appearance for Lazio since his arrival two months ago, struggling to break into Maurizio Sarri’s squad.
As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lazio believe that there is a place in Sarri’s squad for Pellegrini, but they are not keen to pay the €10 million fee agreed with Juventus.
President Claudio Lotito will sit down to talk with the Bianconeri in the coming months to try and obtain a discount for the 24-year-old, who’ll need to prove himself before the end of this season.
Should no agreement be reached, Lazio would look for a replacement for the left back in the summer.
