Zaccagni Agrees to Sign New Lazio Contract

Mattia Zaccagni has reportedly agreed to put pen to paper on a new contract with Lazio.

The 27-year-old Italian winger has been one of the stars of Maurizio Sarri’s squad in the Italian capital this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 24 Serie A appearances.

Zaccagni has become symbolic of this new Lazio era under Sarri and was again the hero in the recent Derby della Capitale victory over Roma, netting the decisive goal in the 65th minute.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Zaccagni has agreed to a new contract with Lazio, which’ll extend his stay in the capital by two years to 2027 and increase his salary to €3m net per season plus add-ons.

An official announcement is expected in the coming weeks, with the final bureaucratic details now being resolved.

Zaccagni is a key figure in this Lazio squad, being one of the main focal points in attack and willing to drop deep to help in build-up.
