Should Piotr Zielinski fail to agree a new contract with Napoli, he’d reportedly be happy to join Lazio in the summer.
The 28-year-old Polish midfielder is a key part of Luciano Spalletti’s squad in the Campania capital, helping them fly to the top of the Serie A table and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
Zielinski’s contract expires with Napoli in the summer of 2024 and current indications suggest that he will not renew his deal with the club, making a sale at the end of the season increasingly likely.
As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Zielinski would be happy to join Lazio should he not agree a new deal with Napoli, having an excellent relationship with Maurizio Sarri.
The Pole earns around €3.5m net per season and could become a concrete target for the Biancocelesti, should Sergej Milinkovic-Savic finally be sold.
This season, Zielinski has scored seven goals and provided 10 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
With all due respect, the money for Zielinsky could be enough to get Dominik Szoboszlai from RB and he is younger . Watch his goal from free kick two days ago, and the byild up to the other. He is the perfect SMS replacement with even better mobility, I’d argue better vision and less complecancy, more consistency and I think he look after his body similr to CR7.
