Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has won March’s Serie A Coach of the Month award following the impressive wins over Napoli and Roma.
The Biancocelesti are hungry to secure a top four finish in Serie A this season as they look to return to the Champions League, and the three results achieved in March gave the team a huge boost in this quest.
Lazio edged out a nail-biting 1-0 win away to league leaders Napoli at the start of the month, which was followed up by a testing 0-0 draw with Bologna. Sarri’s side bounced back in the Derby della Capitale, picking up a 1-0 win over rivals Roma in the ever-heated clash.
As announced today, Sarri has won the Serie A Coach of the Month award for March, which will be handed to him before the kick-off of Lazio’s upcoming match with Juventus on 8th April.
Lazio are currently on track to secure a Champions League finish, sitting second in the table, five points ahead of fifth place Roma.
