Lazio are planning to invest heavily in the summer and are reportedly dreaming of picking up Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi.
The Biancocelesti are desperate to secure qualification to the Champions League this season and currently sit second with 11 games left to play, giving them a strong chance of returning to Europe’s premier club competition.
Champions League qualification and the sale of star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will give Lazio enough resources to add a number of key reinforcements to Maurizio Sarri’s squad in the summer.
As detailed by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lazio have their sights set on Sassuolo winger Berardi, who Sarri believes would be the perfect addition to the squad in Rome.
Contracted to the Neroverdi until June 2027, Berardi has scored six goals and provided five assists in 17 Serie A appearances this season, being a key figure for the Reggio-Emilia outfit. He has spent his entire career with the club, bar a two-year spell where he was technically attached to Juventus.
