Juventus are preparing to lose Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer this summer and want to replace him with Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The French midfielder seems destined to leave Turin at the end of this season, wanting a lucrative contract worth up to around €8-10 million net per season, figures the Bianconeri aren’t seemingly willing to match.
Milinkovic-Savic has also decided not to renew his contract with Lazio and will be sold in the summer, allowing the club to cash in a little. His current deal expires in June 2024, so the Biancocelesti cannot afford to wait any longer on an exit plan.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Juventus have been fans of Milinkovic-Savic for years now and are finally hoping to get their man, but first need to confirm Rabiot’s departure.
Should the Frenchman leave, the Old Lady would immediately begin making a move for the Lazio midfielder.
Milinkovic-Savic’s agent Mateja Kezman has promised to bring offers worth around €40 million, giving Juventus a clear benchmark for talks with Lazio.
