Referee Massimiliano Irrati will leading the officiating team in the upcoming Serie A clash between Spezia and Lazio.
The Biancocelesti are hungry to continue their charge to the Champions League with another positive result, looking to pick up all three points against a struggling Spezia side, who sit dangerously close to the relegation zone.
Lazio flew to a 4-0 win over Spezia in their first meeting this season and they’ll be hoping to replicate that performance as they look to tighten their grip on second in the Serie A table.
Below is the full officiating team for Spezia vs Lazio:
- Referee: Massimiliano Irrati
- Assistant referees: Marco Bresmes – Eugenio Scarpa
- Fourth official: Alberto Santoro
- VAR: Aleandro Di Paolo
- Assistant VAR: Giovanni Ayroldi
The 43-year-old Irrati has overseen 21 Lazio matches in the past – 11 wins, three draws and seven losses. His most recent game involving the Biancocelesti came in the first half of this season, when Maurizio Sarri’s side secured a 2-0 win over Hellas Verona.
The Florence-born referee has also officiated multiple Derby della Capitale clashes with Roma, such as the 3-0 loss last season, as well as the 3-1 win over Inter in October 2021.
