Sarri Fires up Lazio Ahead of Final Sprint of the Season

Maurizio Sarri does not want his Lazio squad to lose sight of their goals in the final stages of this season, firing up the squad at Formello.

The Biancocelesti currently find themselves second in the Serie A table after 30 games, five points clear of third place Roma.

With only eight games left to play, a Champions League spot is in sight for Sarri and his players, but nothing is confirmed yet, piling on the pressure.

Lazio have won their last four league outings and will close out April with games against Torino and Inter, two matches that could trip up Sarri’s squad in their chase of a top four finish.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Sarri is keeping a close eye on his Lazio squad and reiterated the importance of maintaining focus when giving a speech at Formello.

The Italian coach urged the team not to relax or slow down now, saying: “Plug your ears, don’t think we’re good now. Maximum concentration and attention to the last game.
