Lazio talisman Ciro Immobile is hungry to get back out on the pitch and has returned to Formello today to restart his recovery.

The 33-year-old Italian striker was lucky to avoid serious injuries after being involved in a car crash with a tram on Sunday last week, an incident that saw him fracture his rub, suffer a slight spine injury and hurt his arm.

Immobile spent a few days in the hospital before being released home. It was another frustrating and unlucky issue for the Lazio captain, whose season has been disrupted by injuries.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Immobile has made it clear that he wants to be fit for Lazio’s Serie A clash against Inter on 30th April, and he returned to Formello today to restart his recovery.

The 33-year-old visited Maurizio Sarri and his teammates and started his treatment process, allowing him to start working towards a return to action.
