Lazio Planning Anniversary of Coppa Italia Win Over Roma

Lazio are planning ahead for the 10^th anniversary of their famous Coppa Italia win over Roma, which is around a month away.

The Biancocelesti secured victory in the most important Derby della Capitale in history back on 26^th May 2013, when they edged out a 1-0 win over the Giallorossi in the Coppa Italia final thanks to Senad Lulic’s 71^st minute goal.

Lazio’s victory was a key moment in the history of the rivalry between the two Roman clubs and is still a sore point for Roma fans today, with the phrase ‘la coppa in faccia’ often used to poke fun at Giallorossi supporters.

As detailed by Corriere dello Sport (via AllAroundLazio), Lazio and kit provider Mizuno are already considering a number of ways to celebrate the 2013 Coppa Italia win over Roma, with the prominent idea being a new celebratory shirt.

There are also rumours that Lulic, as well as long-time veteran Stefan Radu, could both take part in the anniversary party, allowing them to share a special moment with supporters to celebrate their loyalty to the club.
