Lazio vs Sassuolo: Official Starting Lineups Announced

The starting lineups for this evening’s Serie A clash between Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio and Alessio Dionisi’s Sassuolo have been announced.

Recent History & Form

Lazio have started to slow in recent weeks, suffering back-to-back losses to Torino and Inter, but Sarri’s side still sit second in the Serie A table and will be feeling confident of their chances of securing a spot in the Champions League.

Sassuolo have been a team of highs and lows in recent months, picking up tough wins over Juventus and Empoli but slumping in confusing defeats to Hellas Verona and Salernitana. Dionisi’s side seemingly have little to play for in the final stages of this season, being just outside the race for European qualification but far away from the relegation zone.

When Lazio and Sassuolo met back in January, the Roman outfit secured a confident 2-0 win in Reggio-Emilia.
