With Lazio preparing to sell Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the summer, media reports have again linked the club with a move for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The Biancocelesti are hoping to cash in around €35-40 million for the Serbian star, who is hoping to make the jump to a top club at the end of this season.
One player that Lazio have had their eye on for a while now is Loftus-Cheek, who stood out in West London during Maurizio Sarri’s solitary season in the Premier League.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio are again considering picking up Loftus-Cheek in the summer to replace Milinkovic-Savic, but the costs of the deal may push them to focus on other targets.
The Blues reportedly want around €25-30 million for the 27-year-old Englishman, whose contract expires in June 2024. His €4 million salary is also prohibitive for the Biancocelesti, as is the competition from Milan.
